How children love enhance the movement

It's hard to beat working as a family pastime: It is easy to learn, requires little equipment, can be almost anywhere and carried out at any time, and allows each a piece of this all-important daily physical activity to make. Moreover Fun Run events are motivating, abundant, and yes, fun! Are you trying to children who like to run feed? Take these ideas and with them!

Take your time

For very young children on the run, take it with you on a jogger while running. If you are sure hikers, to encourage them to run in the park and on the slopes, said the running and jogging expert Christine Luff. It is safer than running on sidewalks and can go on without stopping. Parks, Christine recommends a walk around the playground and hit the swings and slides.

Do not try to get your own workout running with children (except in a stroller). Instead, we will set the pace. This is true whether they 3 years old or 13 years old it feels like you are constantly trolling is fun! Instead, set small goals for the children to feel successful. These goals should not be all on the speed of execution. Some might in addition be distance to play a new kind of race to test (intervals on a track or visiting an unknown road, for example), or a game, like trying all 26 letters of the alphabet in identifying mark, as you go.

Convergence will help you to judge the speed and ability of the child. "Do not underestimate how far you can run and how fast," says Melissa Novak, who is 8 years son and a daughter. "11 years, they get faster as they get older and go more muscle. Was not sure how quickly Nick would be able, a 5K we ran together, and smoked to make me!"

If your child, particularly in the context of a team or in a race, to be sure, a few words of praise offer: perhaps meets his best, but maybe to establish a rhythm and stick to it, or encourage a friend.

Games play driver

Running can certainly be its own reward. But it can also increase the attractiveness of the children with meaningful activities. Simply follow the kilometers it feels good. "This summer we are jogging / walking protocols," said Betsy Wilson, a mother of two school-age children. "We recorded miles in increments of half a mile. Include fun runs, goes a National Scenic Trail in our state, and walking around the city, which is connected a number of miles."

Find new places to explore (on the track, of course) is worthwhile for children and adults. Discover nature center with hiking trails, bike trails, ski school, including indoor tracks and treadmills that are fun, even if they are new and different. (Make sure to supervise children on treadmills.) Can also mix things up by you. At night with flashlights or headlamps Bonus points if they wear pajamas!

Games that integrate running are great to increase the performance, apart from fun. Try red light, green light; Relay races; all kinds of labels; and Capture the Flag. You can even get a version of the speed of geocaching or mailbox. Another added to the game: Play with your friends!

Community events, races and other races can inspire the children, whether participating as a spectator or volunteer. The Center for Children's career suggests, runs the children to see a racetrack or in the school, if possible, so that children with the pilots to identify near her age. Volunteer at a water station during the race allows your child feel important and part of a community of runners. And of course, some children like to run in a real race, either for Kids Fun Run 5K or family. There are so many ways for the past: color, scanning traces of mud tracks that glow in the dark, and much more!
